Immerse yourself in the authentic Venice – beyond the historic center – by taking the time to observe, discover, and savor its unique places, colors, and flavors.

I will guide you through the centuries-old craftsmanship of my city, exploring the distinctive features of its lagoon. We will visit the islands of Vignole, San Michele, Murano, Burano, Lido, Pellestrina, and Mazzorbo. Together, we’ll unveil aspects of Venice that most visitors never experience.
These experiences are designed for travelers who wish to explore Venice from a different perspective – culinary, artistic, and artisanal – offering authentic and human connections.
Our journey evolves with the seasons. From March through autumn, our menu adapts to seasonal availability and the freshest vegetables from our region. In March, we’ll begin the season by discovering recipes featuring the famous castraùre (baby purple artichokes) and white asparagus. As the year progresses, we’ll conclude with dishes highlighting Red Radicchio from Treviso, Purple Eggplants, Pumpking… Each of these culinary gems celebrates the rich agricultural heritage of our territory.

cookING CLASS

Immerse yourself in Italian and Venetian cuisine. In the Homemade Pasta Class, craft tagliatelle, ravioli, tortellini, gnocchi, and many sauces from scratch. The Vegetable Extravaganza focuses on preparing healthy, delicious vegetable dishes. The Master Fish Class teaches you to clean and cook fishes and crustaceans for a traditional Venetian dinner.

WINE TASTING

Engage in three wine tastings, exploring small local producers and renowned wineries. This experience immerses you in the winemaking traditions of the Venetian Lagoon, allowing you to savor a variety of wines and deepen your understanding of local oenological practices. Each meal included or prepared during the classes is accompanied by appropriate wines.

EXPERIENCES

Immerse yourself in the vibrant colors of Burano and discover its unique artisanal traditions. Meet Carmelina Palmisano, renowned for her delicious bussolà and essi biscuits. Dive into the intricate art of Burano lace-making, uncovering the centuries-old stories behind this exquisite craft. Engage with local fishermen to learn about the famed Italian mussels and oyster farmers.

ART & CRAFT

Experience the timeless art of glassblowing at Seguso Vetri d’Arte, a family tradition since 1397 guided by Gianluca Seguso. After this visit, you’ll view Murano glass in a different way. Proceed to Burano to discover lacemaking at Martina Vidal’s atelier. With Valeria learn about the art of bespoke handcraft jewelry through the “lost wax” technique.

ISLANDS TOUR

Venice is not just its historic center but a mosaic of islands, each with its own soul and beauty. I invite you to discover our territory. From Vignole to San Michele, from Lido to Pellestrina, from Murano to Burano, and finally to Mazzorbo, each island offers unique and unforgettable experiences, revealing an authentic Venice that just a few traveler are fortunate to know.
